Qualifications
Qualifications for substitute teachers shall be: 1. A completed application 2. Proper identification such as a driver's license and an official social security card 3. A copy of high school diploma or GED certificate. 4. College transcripts, if applicable 5. Three (3) favorable references 6. Pass a criminal background check all new employees are required by the state of Tennessee and school board policy to be fingerprinted for a criminal background check, at his/her expense, as a condition of employment. The fee must be paid at time he/she is fingerprinted and may be paid by check or money order to the company that does RCDE fingerprinting.
